Lovely portrait and composition, maybe I would have tried with b&w on this one, to make it look more vintage and romantic somehow. Glad to see a fellow bookworm! :handshake:

it's sweet but very snapshot-y... you can clearly see it's a normal girl's room, there's some bit of window colour on the upper right corner, there's the bit on the left side - those things distract from the main point you want to make.
b/w is a good idea to get rid of destraction - but I think the different colours of the books are a good aspect of the photo. it's more a question of composition. maybe place her directly in front of the shelf, zoom in a bit to just get her face/torso and the book on the shot and maybe play around with perspective
